Exalt<\/span> this place above all others, reveal your wonderful power, fill it with people from all nations<\/span> of the Earth — those who bear<\/span> Your Name — and let their dwellings spread from end to end on this peninsula. PROGRAM OF<\/span> 8 DAYS:<\/b><\/p>\n

1st<\/b><\/span> <\/b>day<\/b><\/span>.<\/b> Thessaloniki — Ouranoupoli<\/p>\n

Arrival in Thessaloniki. Meeting at the airport «Macedonia» in Thessaloniki. Group transfer to the Ouranoupoli. Hotel accommodation.<\/p>\n

2<\/b>nd<\/b><\/span> day<\/b>. Ouranoupoli — Holy Athos<\/p>\n

Breakfast in the hotel. Receiving diamonitirion (permission to stay) in the representation of the Holy Mountain in Ouranoupoli. Buy tickets for the ferry. Departure by ferry to Athos at 9:45. Exit from the ferry to the wharf<\/span> of the monastery of Xenophon. Transfer with a guide on a public<\/span> bus to the capital of the monastic republic of Karyes<\/span>. Icon worship \u201cMother of Mercy\u201d<\/span>, icon «Nursing Virgin<\/span>«. Visit to the monastery Kutlumush<\/span>. Visit Andrew’s Skete and worship the head of the Apostle St. <\/span>Andrew. Overnight at the monastery of Xenophon.<\/p>\n

Evening conversation with the elder prior<\/span> of the monastery of Xenophon — Alexios<\/span>.<\/p>\n

2 — The Monastery of Karakal. Worship the «C<\/span>alming down» or «R<\/span>estrain» Icon of the Mother of God, the miraculous icon of Peter and Paul, as well as the icon of the Holy Martyr Gideon, who heals from cancer.<\/p>\n

3 — Monastery of Philotheus<\/span>. Worship miraculous icons of \u201c<\/span>Tender feeling\u201d<\/span>, \u201c<\/span>Gerondissa\u201d<\/span>. Visit the spring<\/span> of St. Athanasius of Athos.<\/p>\n

4 — Monastery of the Great Lavra. W<\/span>orship the relics of Athanasius of Athos, the miraculous icons of «Ikonomisa<\/span>» and «Kukuzelissa<\/span>«. Overnight and dinner in the monastery. Conversation with the prior<\/span> of the monastery — Archimandrite Prodromos.<\/p>\n

After the Liturgy and repast<\/span>, pilgrimage to monasteries and Sketes<\/span>.<\/p>\n

1 — Monastery of Stavronikita. W<\/span>orship the icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.<\/p>\n

2 — Monastery Pantokrator. Worship of the miraculous icon «Gerontissa<\/span>«.<\/p>\n

3 — Skete<\/span> of Prophet Ilias<\/span>. Worship the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God.<\/p>\n

4 — The Skete of the Virgin (Skete<\/span> of woodworker’s<\/span>, 1st Russian Skete on Athos). The worship the miraculous icon Kazan Mother of God.<\/p>\n

5 — Monastery of Vatoped. The worship the Belt of the Blessed Virgin, the head of St. John Chrysostome<\/span>, seven miraculous icons: «Pantanassa<\/span>«, «Pirovolitisa<\/span>«, «Eleovritissa<\/span>«, «Esfagmeni<\/span>«, «C<\/span>alming down» or «R<\/span>estrain», «Ktitorisa<\/span>» or \u201cVimatarisa\u201d<\/span>, «Antifonetria<\/span>«. Overnight and dinner in the monastery. Conversation with the elder prior<\/span> of the monastery — Gabriel Pantokrator.<\/p>\n

5<\/b>th<\/b><\/span> day.<\/b> Saint Athos<\/p>\n

After the Liturgy and the repast<\/span>, pilgrimage to monasteries.<\/p>\n

1 — Monastery of Constantonite. Worshiping the W<\/span>onderworking Icon of the First Martyr and Archdeacon Stephen, the icons of the Mother of God «Odigitria<\/span>» and «Andifonetria<\/span>«.<\/p>\n

2 — Monastery of Simonopetra. Worshiping the imperishable relics of St. Maria<\/span> Magdalene, which until <\/span>today keep<\/span> (almost 2000 years) the temperature of a living body.<\/p>\n

3 — The Monastery of St. Paul, which contains the gifts of the Magians<\/span>, the relics of the Cosmas<\/span> and Damian, the Greatmartyr and the Miracle Worker Panteleimon. Dinner and overnight in the monastery. Visit to the cell of Evangelismos<\/span> of Theotokou<\/span>. Conversation with mentor elder — Prodromos.<\/p>\n

6<\/b>th<\/b><\/span> day.<\/b> Saint Athos.<\/p>\n

After the Liturgy and the repast<\/span>, pilgrimage to the monasteries.<\/p>\n

1 — Monastery Zograf (Bulgarian), worship the three miraculous icons of St. George the Victorious.<\/p>\n

2 — Monastery of Hilandar (Serbian, known to the Holy Vine, healing infertility). Worship the miraculous icon «Tricherousa<\/span>«, the relics of Savva of Serbia. Monastery Dohyar, the worship the miraculous icon «Gorgoepikoos<\/span>«. Monastery Xenophon, worship the miraculous icons of the Mother of God «Odigitria» and St. George the Victorious. Return to the St. Panteleimon Monastery. D<\/span>inner and<\/span> o<\/span>vernight in the monastery or in the monastery of Vatopedi<\/span>. Conversation with the elder Archimandrite Ephraim.<\/p>\n

7<\/b>th<\/b><\/span> day. <\/b>Saint Athos — Ouranoupoli<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, departure by ferry to Ouranoupoli. Hotel accommodation.<\/p>\n

8<\/b>th<\/b><\/span> day.<\/b> Ouranoupoli — Thessaloniki — Airport<\/p>\n

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Thessaloniki to the airport «Macedonia». Departure.<\/p>\n
